Gratitude Journal #1

“Alhamdulillah.” That’s how a muslim should start her day. Waking up, offering a prayer, thanking and praising Allah for another chance to live and repent and do good deeds. For days, I haven’t been able to. For days, when I opened my eyes, I wished I didn’t need to wake up. It was kinda scary and depressing.

But Alhamdulillah. Since yesterday, my spirit was up again. Instead of “I can’t go on”, I consciously thought “God, I need strength from You so that I can face the day!” and went to salah. Phew. Alhamdulillah saytan didn’t win that time.

I’m also thankful for the opportunity to watch 2 webinars today, even though I still need to take notes and summarize, but other times, maybe later tonight or tomorrow.

Kiddos are generally healthy. Bill too. Although I need to remind him to see physio again, maybe tomorrow.

I got my p. Alhamdulillah. No third for now. wkwk. a relief.

Mrs.S helped me taking care of kiddos while I laid listless and Bill was in meeting. Phew.

The quiet night to start a journal. The goal is to do this 21 days straight without a break. Bismillah.
